The Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal (ADAN) represents the Ayurvedic profession actively working in  Nepal, established in the 2054 B.S.  The mission of the organization is to preserve, protect, promote and advance the practice of Ayurveda for the benefit of the nation. It was established with the vision of  making a dynamic voice of the Ayurvedic profession; empowering and capacity building the available human resources to enhance health, well-being and self-awareness through Ayurveda.

10th Executive Committee

10th Executive Committee of Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal  (ADAN) was selected on Sunday, March 20, 2022. The two days ADAN Convention that was  successfully accomplished, consists of a scientific session, amendment on the code of conduct of ADAN, and the general election for a new executive committee.  

Dr. Shyam Babu Yadav was elected as the President. Dr. Kopila Adhikari as General Secretary, Dr. Prerok Regmi as Secretary, Dr. Sarada Khanal as Treasurer was nominated by the election of ADAN. 

Dr. Shankar Gautam has been elected as the Senior Vice President and Dr. Aishwarya Shrestha as the Women Vice President. The general assembly also selected vice-presidents for all the seven province of Nepal.

STRATEGY ON AYURVEDA

ADAN has setup its strategy for the promotion of the practice of Ayurveda in Nepal and protection of the interests of Ayurveda practitioners and businesses in Nepal. It majorly works to improve the standard on dimensions of service and education, and to increase the quality and availability of Ayurveda products and services in Nepal.

The Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal is actively working for the standardisation and the promoting herbal and natural products. The organization is working with the different agencies for the sustainable use and production of the Ayurveda products.

ADAN SCHEMES FOR MEMBERS

The ADAN has launched ADAN Scheme for Members. This scheme aims to benefit its members.  Members receive a variety of perks, such as information on ADAN events, promote for the scientific works and easy facilatiting inprocess like registrations, getting participate in the capacity building and more. 

In order to build a digital ADAN and make it more responsive to its members, the 10th Executive Committee.  

The prime motive of the Organization is transparency, capacitative members and globalisation of the Ayurveda. ADAN will regularly update the scheme as per the need assessment.

Journal of Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal (JADAN) is the official publication of ADAN which was initiated on 2007 A.D. and now it is available online and open access, free for processing and publication.
