About ADAN:
The Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal (ADAN) represents the Ayurvedic profession actively working in Nepal, established in the 2054 B.S. The mission of the organization is to preserve, protect, promote and advance the practice of Ayurveda for the benefit of the nation. It was established with the vision of making a dynamic voice of the Ayurvedic profession; empowering and capacity building the available human resources to enhance health, well-being and self-awareness through Ayurveda.

Mission The mission of ADAN is to promote the practice of Ayurveda in Nepal and to protect the interests of Ayurveda practitioners and creating Ayurveda Ecosystem in Nepal. Vision The vision of ADAN is to be the leading organization in Nepal for promoting the practice of Ayurveda and protecting the interests of Ayurveda practitioners and the creating Ayurveda Ecosystem in Nepal.
Objective:
The objectives of ADAN are:
* To promote the practice of Ayurveda in Nepal
* To protect the interests of Ayurveda practitioners and businesses in Nepal
* To improve the quality of Ayurveda education and training in Nepal
* To increase the availability of Ayurveda products and services in Nepal
* To work with other health care organizations in Nepal to promote the use of Ayurveda in the prevention and treatment of disease
ADAN ACTIVITIES
ADAN undertakes a range of activities since its establishment to achieve its mission and vision. These activities include:
* Providing information and support to Ayurveda practitioners and enterpreners in Nepal
* Working with other health care organizations in Nepal to promote the use of Ayurveda in the prevention and treatment of disease.
* Publishing the Journal of Ayurveda Doctors Association of Nepal, an annual journal containing articles on Ayurveda theory and practice, case studies, book reviews, and news of the organization.
* Organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops on Ayurveda topics nationally and internationally.
* Supporting research on Ayurveda in Nepal.
